I liked that especially because (for me) it called back to Willow's "You're 200 years old and you don't have time for coffee?" speech. Probably unintentionally, but it still made me giddily happy that Angel had time for coffee with Connor.

I'm still inarticulate, mostly. With tears, and with recognition of who these characters are, and the fitting end to this show. And yes, with white-hot anger at the temerity of the WB network to intrude on a wordless afterglow cast by ME with a self-aggrandizing and wholly false attempt at "label loyalty." Fuck that.
Every note was character-perfect, and there were many moments of surprise followed by a nod recognising the inevitability of that moment's choice for that character. It was masterful, and very possibly the high point of the entire series. It was a much more satisfying finale than Buffy's was.
I hated sobbing alone in front of my tv, unable to share the last watch-n-post with Buffistas. If Joss and Tim come up with another show, that'll be great. But I need a little mourning period, I think, before giving my devotion elsewhere.
