Angel 5: Is That It? Am I Done?

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Art Crawl!!!

I love all those moments you have mentioned but honestly, I'm just not ready to say goodbye yet.

"I make mistakes, but I am on the side of Good," the Golux said, "by accident and happenchance.” – The 13 Clocks, James Thurber

Thanks, Polter-Cow. I knew I should have saved those episodes on tape. I'll just have to wait until fall for the DVDs.

The longer I stay awake tonight, the more time I have before tomorrow begins.

A random delurk for a random occurrence: Angelus is in my driveway. Or at least a large metal garbage bin that looks like it has "Angelus" tattooed on its side is out there, dropped off by the trash company this morning. The letters feel bumpy, and they've been painted over in a bright, cheerful blue. (Trying to hide the inner demon, apparently.)

A bright blue garbage bin doesn't seem menacing at all. But if the thing starts wearing black leather pants, I am outta here.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You know what? I am at Victor's Angel party right now, AIFG.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Hello all the Angel party-goers! I wish I could have joined the Worcester party, but DH just got home today, and since I'm already ditching him Saturday for the F2F, I figured it might be a good thing to stay home.

I'm sad though, 'cause he's just not into the Buffyverse, and so I'm watching the finale alone.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Bah. I'm stuck at work until 7:30, and then I don't get home until 8:30, and no FUCKING way I'm watching the last half of it. So, Nova of the Supr variety is my bestest friend.

If I only had a brain...

I'm gong to be at Deb's tonight and then bed. I just wanted to thank you all. It's been lovely.

My moments and people and themes I'll remember:

Angel making breakfast for Cordy and Wes in TSiLA. That moment cemented the core group for the next three years. *sniff*

Evil hand issues - best exit speech ever.

Numero Cinco, reminding me what the show used to be.

Holtz, particularly striding through the wreckage of Caritas as Connor was born. Love him in all his righteous revenge-seeking ways.

Dru striding in to vamp Darla.

Every glorious, thrilling, heartbreaking moment of S4, the One True Season.

Lilah. I miss that beautiful and vicious bitch.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Eighteen minutes, and I'm gonna cry like a baby. The plane was delayed in Houston and then we had to circle DC for a while. Needless to say I was getting anxious. The lady next to me asked why I was so nervous. I couldn't tell her; I didn't want to be mocked tonight.

Don't expect too much coherent speech from me tonight. I'm tired, a tad jet-lagged, and hungry. Oh, and still a bit hung-over, but I'm here for the final watch and post. *sigh*

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

12 minutes. I'm so not ready for this. I shall go to the bathroom, and pour a glass of wine. Then it will start. Then it will end. Then I shall cry. See you during the commercials.

My word of the day? Painbow.
