It makes me sad that it's the last Buffverse day. The end of over 200 hours exploring a particular world-- snuffed out.

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
It's weird -- it feels like forever, even though it's "just" forever in this posting box (or other similar). I mean, even for people that don't watch the shows any more, it's been the thing that's been going on that made this all happen.
It's odd to think of the Minearverse comers, or people that drifted this way because of Firefly.

Argh. Sadder, now. I am pretty sure tonight marks 254 hours of BtVS/A:ts combined. Feh. Want to do it all over. Goodbyes are yucky.
Y'all are making me feel all introspective and nostalgic when I had planned on being deep in denial.

Yes, this. I mean, just this weekend a couple got married, who got to know each other through the existence of the Buffyverse. The TV show changed their lives in oneof the most meaningful ways there are.

It's also odd, to me, in the sense that some of the people who drifted here thanks to "Firefly" seem like they've been here, well, forever.
Am I the only one feeling more of a sense of loss for Angel than for Buffy? Mainly because the final season of the former has been so much better than the latter.

this is great. May I tag?

I think that I am feeling the Angel loss more than Buffy for two reasons:
1. I'm happier with Angel at the series end than I was with Buffy. Between the Spuffy, the annoying potentials, Dawn, Kennedy, etc., I wasn't feeling the deep and abject love that marked earlier watchings.
2. I knew from the beginning that Buffy was a 7 season arc. I was prepared for it to end when it did. This is abrupt and unpleasant.
I don't really feel much right now, courtesy of my exam. Mostly my reaction to all the season finales is "ok, now I can get more study done on Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday etc". Except the Frasier finale gave me a new tagline.
Sometimes, I'm callous and strange.

This. I haven't had time to prepare. I may feel the loss of the Scoobies more in the long run, but I was annoyed with the speechifying of S7, and I had lots of time to prepare. BTVS is still my favorite show in the history of the universe, but the loss of Angel hurts more. I'm not ready.

Also no, "We still have Angel."
