Angel: Just admit it: you think you're gonna ride in, save the day, and sweep Buffy off her--Spike: Like you're not thinking the same thing. Angel: I'm already seeing somebody. Spike: What, dog girl?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Ooh. That's really interesting, aurelia. Hmm. Never thought about that.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Krycek's motivations are even hazier than Lindsey's though. He certainly doesn't have the personal grudge to go after Mulder that Lindsey does for Angel - it's more like motivationless malignity.

Also, weren't there two Krycek's? Was the one who got trapped in the Russian ship the same one who seemed to be an alien? And then didn't seem to be an alien?

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

No, no, only one Krycek. Who was infected with the black oil for a while.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh, I almost forgot the part where they both started out in suits, but later showed a preference for tight jeans.

I'm just musing. Not really looking for any deeper meaning.

No, just the one. He was infected with the black oil for a little while though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Last night my brain decided to fixate on a comparison between Lindsey and Alex Krycek. Here are the highlights: Both have ho-yay potential with the lead male (although Krycek's remained more sub than text); both had a wooden hand (too bad Krycek didn't get his replaced with an evil hand - that would've been fun!); you never know which team either character is playing for (so to speak) at any given time

I had to read this way too many times before I could be sure Lex wasn't in it.

ita, if I watched Smallville it probably would've been a three way.

And there's no way I can get the porn out of that sentence.

For which I thank you.

You are quite welcome.

And that's why he got his forearm chopped off, right? Heh, evil hand issues!

God, even when they were trying the X-Files never really made a lick of sense.

No, that was a different time. In Tunguska they were experimenting with a vaccine for the black oil. Apparently it had something to do with smallpox vaccinations because if you didn't have a left arm (ie smallpox scar) you didn't get experimented on. So the kind locals removed his arm to save him.
