It was very Wolverine-into-Mystique.
Angel 5: Is That It? Am I Done?
[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.
Huh. I thought the "lie to you" thing and the punch were terribly overdone. But that way leads to the whole divide of "loved the ending/despised the ending." Not going there again.
I thought the "lie to you" thing and the punch were terribly overdone.
The "lie" was good for me. I did like the Fred-to-Illyria change mid-punch but the actual fist through head looked so fake that I wasn't able to accept it within the show's reality.
I figure one of three things happened:
(1) Vail was some sort of demon that disintegrates like vampires upon death
(2) Illyria still had some vestigial time-warping powers, and getting that pissed off allowed her to hit him with not only physical force but also speeded up crumble-into-dust mojo
(3) Mutant Enemy ran out of CGI money halfway through the effect
I'm voting for number 3.
"Judgement" with an "e" is indeed an acceptable spelling. Just not amongst lawyers.
Okay. That is frustrating. Because "judgement" does look right, but I've been spelling it "judgment" since it's been beaten into my head that that is the only correct spelling. I had no idea both were acceptable. Every time I've accidentally spelled it with an e, I've had it corrected.
So weird.
(3) Mutant Enemy ran out of CGI money halfway through the effect
This.
(It was also originally scripted to happen in super-slo-mo, but slo-mo effects mean more frames means more $$. So.)
Every time I've accidentally spelled it with an e, I've had it corrected.
Next time, direct the person to a dictionary.
You talk about the the "lie to you" scene and I start tearing up.
Yeah, it worked for me.
The effect was bad, but the punch worked for me anyway. Want! More! Frillyria/Wes! Stupid cancellation.
I'm feeding my addiction by watching the entire series from the beginning. And by beginning I mean Season 1, episode 1.
4840 minutes of excellence.
