Illyria: Wesley's dead. I'm feeling grief for him. I can't seem to control it. I wish to do more violence. Spike: Well, wishes just happen to be horses today.

I can't even.

It's the standard British spelling, and my school system seemed to prefer that for some reason.

I'm reading these posts with a real disconnect. The other way to spell judgement is to misspell it. Set Webster on fire! They're warping your children's fragile minds!

Grr. I really hate it when shit that is WRONG becomes acceptable because so many people do it that way (see, e.g. ambivalent). There should be only one way to spell a word in each language (British English and American English being separate languages, of course).

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Okay, I give -- what's the other way to spell judgement?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Judgment, I think.

Ick.

Up with the sun

Judgment.

I have no problem with flexible spelling -- it makes it more likely I'll guess right.

Judgment

That was my guess, but it looks really wrong. Maybe I was British in a past life.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I stuck around the apartment to finish watching "Not Fade Away" on TNT this morning. I hadn't seen it since last May, so I was crying with Fryllria over the dying Wesley.

"Shall I lie to you now?"
"Yes, please."

Wahhh!

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Ah, wasn't the punch that ended that scene one of the most satisfying in the show's run?
