I always thought the name Serenity had a vaguely funereal sound to it.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

do you have a DVD player in your computer?

I don't think it will play DVDs. And, anyway, that's crossing a line at work as far as I'm concerened.

If I had an office, maybe, but not in cubical prairie territory.

Look on the faces of cow-orkers who note the Angel theme coming from the stall in the men's room: Priceless

No supply closet - only a supply cabinet. Our department's closet got bogarted by the data center to store spare computers, etc., so no access.

Of course, no laptop is the big problem.

Well, boo.

The gag reel was fun, but too short and none of the losing it over the Angel puppet. The Smile Time featurette (which is on the first disc for some reason) didn't either.

And no commentaries on Lineage, Smile Time or Numero Cinco. I haven't checked yet, but I hope either You're Welcome or Origin does.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Anyone catch the misspelling of "dysfunction" on the last interior panel of the S5 DVDs?

And since when did the failsafe central to the plot in "You're Welcome" become a tool of TPTB? I thought it was put in place by the Senior Partners. Doesn't anyone spell- and fact-check anymore? Unless, of course, the SP and TPTB are one in the same, as I've always suspected.

Edit for context: I'm referring to the booklet with the episode blurbs for the second point.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Unless, of course, the SP and TPTB are one in the same, as I've always suspected.

I think the revelation that Illyria knew the Wolf, Ram, & Hart when they were young whippersnappers gives the lie to this. My impression is that Jasmine and her ilk used to be the same sort of thing as Illyria millions of years ago, but adopted a more benevolent and detached outlook and evolved beyond the physical plane.

I think that the SP and TPTB are kind of like the Legion of Doom and the Superfriends -- equally powerful, but on opposite sides of the same coin.

Sure I went over to the Dark Side, but just to pick up a few things.

Anyone catch the misspelling of "dysfunction" on the last interior panel of the S5 DVDs?

I also noticed that in the captions of Hellbound they typed the name "Pavayne" but in Lineage they spelled it "Pavane". Love the continuity.
