What is even happening?

Simpsons is a necessity for all thinking people.

That lets me out. (Actually I have watched it, and dh used to watch it a long time ago, and I enjoy it when I do. I just never adopted it.)

I tried it Cindy. It just didn't appeal. I'm not much for high school shows. Even the first few seasons of Buffy didn't hold as much interest for me as after she graduated high school.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

My guilty pleasure is Tru Calling. I'm actually hoping it will be renewed.

The upfronts are this week. Early reports say TC and Arrested Development have both been renewed.

The only other shows I watch are things that occasionally pop up on PBS, the Discovery Channel, and History. Strangely enough, the ads are a big element in these decisions. It's like not wanting to go to a nice restaurant because the neighborhood is so damned sleazy. And taping for later means I'd have to find time later. I've tried "Tru Calling," and, well ...

With every new reality show announced, I weep more for the lost brain cells of my nation.

That's all right, connie. I tried 24 and only made it through half the first season. And I thought it was a good show. Only it started lagging badly after about 5 eps and the daughter frustrated me beyond belief. Have the killed her off yet? If not, they need to hire Tim to fix things. Then I could forgive them for cancelling WF.

Hey. New board.

I feel guilty for JoA. And I know I should.

I mean, c'mon, that show just has genuinely BAD music, if nothing else.

But I watch it anyway. Sucker for high school dramas from the kids' perspectives.

(Freaks and Geeks and My So-Called Life I will mourn 'til the end of my days.)

t on-topic Oh, and, uh, that show called Angel? Love it. Vampires with souls are kewl!!!1!!!!!1!!1!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Have the killed her off yet? If not, they need to hire Tim to fix things. Then I could forgive them for cancelling WF.

When has Tim ever killed off a character that the audience wanted to die? (Seriously, the reason Kim is still alive is because everyone wants her to die. She's written and acted to be the character you want bad things to happen to. It's perversely satisfying that she just. won't. die.)

I'm tired of no longer being the prime demographic. Where are the shows where the sexy 40-something gets the hot guy?

What is even happening?

Chloe is the one on 24 that cracks me up. She's got the personality of a wasp, and she's not good looking (in a TV sense), so she really just exists because of her mad skillz.

making her home at bronzebeta.com since 2001

JM's normal accent drives me nuts. He uses all these "yeah, yeahs" and "uhms" when he can't get his thoughts together, which is frequently. So then he takes off speaking a mile and minute with the yeah-yeah thrown in willy-nilly. As a result, he babbles.

He talks much better when speaking at conventions. I have no idea why JM gets so hyperactive on talk shows.
