It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

The Kane concert KICKED ASS!!!1!

I got an aisle seat not too terribly far from the stage, enjoyed the music immensely (they did a particularly good rendition of "Crazy in Love"), and got to spend an entire night ogling Christian and the jeans he was poured into. David Boreanaz came onstage to introduce the band, then returned along with Stephanie Romanov and Jamie Bergman for the final number.

Bonus: David wore a leather jacket for that last part, so join with me in praying my photos of him and Christian clinched in a hug develop well, for the benefit of slash fans everywhere in need of a Lindsey/Angel icon.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Vampire David Boreanaz! Heh.

Well I guess he could do his own stunts then. Also, ME could save money on vamp makeup.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Well I guess he could do his own stunts then. Also, ME could save money on vamp makeup.

Yeah, but think what they're losing on night shoots.

"You see? THAT's what they want. Love, and a bit with a dog."

Debate needs settling. I haven't ever heard AA speak as AA, but my mother and I are guessing at which is closer to her real voice: Fred's or Illyria's.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

From the interviews on the DVDs, it's closer to Fred's, though not as Southern, and not quite as high.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

She speaks as herself on the DVDs, and her real voice is closer to Illyria's. It's kind of a mix at times, in the featurettes.

I love contradictory x-posts. I think I was biased to hear a more Illyric voice because that's what people on TWoP were saying. In one of the featurettes, she sounded a lot like Fred, though, and in another, it was Fred with hints of Illyria. I think they just wanted to get their panties in a tussle about the cutesy voice.

It's a remora, dimwit.

I've heard AA in other roles, and she pretty much sounded like Fred, but less Southern. I haven't heard her as herself, though to me it seemed that her Fred was more of an exaggeration of her regular voice, like Willow is for AH.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I'd think one's voice on DVD commentaries would be a little bit deeper, since one is just sitting and commenting to a mike. You don't have to project, you're not excited or moving around-- all things that, IME, makes one's voice a bit higher.
