Art Crawl!!!

What Matt said. Plus, I was so happy that she got a good send-off.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It really was a triumph of writing for Fury, and a very worthy sendoff for both the actor and character. Yeah, I think I felt gratitude too.

Wrod. I so didn't see it coming. I had hope in my heart for a return of Interesting!Cordy. I had missed a few episodes that season (crappy local station, mumble, mumble, grrr ), so that might have had something to do with the blindness, but props to Fury for the writing too.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

He made me love her again, and then he took her away.

I didn't mourn Conner when he died. But damn I adored him in his S5 eps.

Cass, you don't have to whitefont aired Angel in this thread.
I was only whitefonting to sneak in the fact that I really never loved that Texan stoner chick. I know a lot of people liked her and don't want to harsh on their mellow. She just grated on me.

When are S5 dvds out? Only if anyone knows off the top of their head. If I am too sloth to check Amazon, certainly no one else should.

They are out. I got mine at Costco, maybe two weeks ago.

eta: Apparently, the final seasons of Buffy and Angel are not interchangeable, and Angel S5 is only out in my dreams. Sorry!

Take your fingers off it, don't you dare touch it, you know it don't belong to you, to you...

me. Wesley's didn't because we didn't really have any time to process the ramifications in-show, so I tend to forget about it

That's exactly the way I feel about it; I've checked out a couple of the Virtual Season Sixes, and while one does bring Wes back through the "contract with Wolfram and Hart goes past death" loophole (making him a walking corpse), the others have so far kept him dead, making his death more tear-worthy.

Another reason why his death doesn't affect me all that much is that I understand that had there been a Sixth Season he wouldn't have been killed off; does anyone know the details on this? I've heard that he would have survived but Lorne would have died in the fifth season finale had it not also been the series finale.

Anyways, I'm glad that there are some people out there who still seem willing to discuss Angel with me.

Fekking Amazon says February 18. I gotta get me to a CostCo.

editted after checking CostCo website: libkitty, in the U.S.? I only see four seasons. I am hoping it is lack of an update and that I can complete my ME dvd collection.

(random nattery CostCo moment: They have SeeClear lens cleaning tissues that are brilliant. And faintly smell like orange blossoms. I don't regularly wear glasses so I box lasts me age but I cannot pimp them enough.)

I was spoiler pure, now I am spoiler curious...

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

The bit about Lorne is new to me, but otherwise, the season would have ended with Angel joining the Circle of the Black Thorn, and the last season would have been about building that scam up, then ending at about the same place.

brillig

The rumors I heard said they were going to have a big battle and have most of S6 take place in a more post-apocalyptic environment. Damn you, WB. Damn you.

Many apologies. I seem to have a problem with my brain not being there today. It turns out that Buffy S7 and Angel S5, while both final seasons for their respective series, are not the same thing. This dawned on me in the middle of Firefly. The resulting exclamation startled my visitors, to say the least. I am very sorry for causing confusion and extra work.
