Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Of course, then I wondered whether Plei would go to Blockbuster.

Hee. Nope. I'd go to Rainy Day or Scarecrow. Support your local indie video stores (especially the ones with kick ass selections)!

Cincinnati -- no lie -- doesn't have ANY indie video stores. None. And Blockbuster and the Public Library won't carry anything rated above an R. So if I wanted to see a double-feature of, say, The Pillow Book and Last Tango in Paris, I can't obtain them in my fucking city. I have to either buy them or join Netflix.

I have my dvds!

I'd be more celebratory except that I'm so sad about Teppy's.

Tep - did you call Amazon???

I e-mailed them last night, late. So I'm awaiting a reply.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Working the voo-doo for a positive response from Amazon...

I figured the Gunn/Wesley fic came out before the snuggle - but I never saw the HoYay between the two myself until the snuggle. Now *I* get it - though not enough to go seeking fic.

It really started back around the time of "Epiphany," didn't it?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I'm watching The House Always Wins, and I saw my Lorne!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ha! We had the same experience while watching it. "Hey, that's in Lee's apartment now!"

Embrace the oh-so-wrong hotness of the ConCord!

It's still a damn sight better than Angel-Cordy.

Yeah, I'll take giving Connor something real over "I'm only alive when you're inside me" any day of the week. At least the former was intentionally icky.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

I'm watching "Ground State," and I just noticed that they shipped Gwen off to a school in Gills Rock, WI. This is where I go for the 4th of July every year. I noticed that while they chose hilly country (and Door County peninsula is moderately hilly), the hills aren't what you find there. The trees are wrong and the fact you can see bare ground between them? Nu and uh. Very green, very lush, and if'n it was fall? Leaves that had changed color already or dropped them. Oh, well, they did the best they could without leaving California.

The generation that could change the world is still looking for its car keys.

Did anyone else catch her last name? The head-mistress (or whoever that was) called her parents Mr and Mrs Raiden.
