Up with the sun

CC, sadly, is that little bit too old to make the jump - although she deserves to.

I think CC will work in TV for as long as she wants to. I don't see her being a superstar, but she's reasonably funny and seems to be willing to do about anything, so I expect she'll get another series at some point.

SMG may well be a "where are they now?" in 15 years, unless she gets better taste in scripts fast, or "The Grudge" turns out to be a breakout part instead of a routine horror movie. She definitely has the talent to cross over, but I'm not sure she's managing her career very well, and I don't think she wants to do TV again.

I want to see Emma and Amy Acker succeed, but it's hard to predict.

Art Crawl!!!

I hear that CC will be appearing on Charmed sometime this season.

(I pre-ordered S4 of Angel already!)

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I see Charisma having a journey(wo)man career with lots of guest roles, TV movies, and maybe series down the line. But it'll take a lucky break for her to make it big.

David's already managed to parlay his Angel gig into two starring film roles, so odds are he'll be OK. The aforementioned "willing to do anything" comment goes double for him, so I can see him working steadily between the action hero stuff and goofy comedies.

J August I just can't tell about. He has the charm and talent, but I don't know if Hollywood has many roles for young black actors who don't have a Rap following, and I can't see him going the "urban" comedy route.

By all rights Amy Acker should be a star, but I fear both she and Alexis are going to end up doing character roles (albeit extremely well) for the foreseeable future.

She's supposed to play a seer, apparently. Which may or may not mean the source is back, which probably doesn't mean Cole will be back, Julian McMahon having better (or at least more nekkid) things to do and all.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I'd still watch "It's Cordy!"/MTM show sitcom for Charisma. If "Joey" can make it to air, any cast member of Buffy or Angel could be fair game for spinoff.

Still want Illyria to manipulate time to rewrite Wes' encounter so he lives.

Might have to give up the secret that Fred is not all gone to do it...

Not sure if that's just a fanwank or a fanfic I need to write.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

No, because he's a cabaret artist.

'splain, please. i think Andy definitely has the talent to do other things. right now he needs to focus on getting himself well though.

I think there is no justice in the entertainment world if Alexis and Amy don't get mainstream accolades. of course, i don't have much hope in that either.

CC has the potential, but like others said i think she'll be in an endless bout of guest stars and tv movies.

I think DB will be eating his words about an Angel tv movie.

YOMV.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

I tend to agree with Jim. AH was an OK actor on Angel, nothing more. I loved the character, but never thought the actor excelled.

In other barely-Angel-related news, I just noticed this: The Daily Show Disses Elizabeth Rohm (about halfway down). Plus! Monkeys!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ouch!

The beetle, by the way, is indiscriminate in its taste for wood, meaning that it poses a threat to everything from elms to maples to the performance style of "Law & Order" star Elisabeth Rohm.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh, lordy. There are some fun quotes in there.

Authorities say that the only thing preventing the tiger from doing further damage was that he didn't have an E-Z Pass.

A macaque monkey named Darla apparently bit a two-year-old in a Key Food in Brooklyn. The boy's grandmother recalls her reaction, saying, "Why is there a monkey in Key Foods? Those were my exact words." Strange, as most people's reaction whenever they go shopping is, "Why isn't there a monkey in Key Foods?"
