Angel 5: Is That It? Am I Done?

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

What's the gist--that there might be four Angel made-for-TV movies? (My guess.)

Not exactly. Four movies with Buffiverse characters. You might not want to know who's potentially in or not in the potential movies that may or may not be made sometime.

I know I immediately trust a place that terms it the home of genré television.

Hey, if one lone website in Australia can't get it right, then I don't know who can. And they do advise you to "Stay Tuned" so there will be more news coming any day!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I wonder if they know if Halle's doing X3.

All this time, I thought Hunter was a bitch. Turns out she was just hungry.

Am I the only one bugged that in an obvious ensemble situation as X, Halle seemed to have been the one asking for more screen time? If I may be catty and go by acting chops instead of Oscar wins I'd count several I'd give screen time than her--McKellan, Stewart, Cox, Janssen, Jackman, Paquin, Davison...

In the first movie I think she had like three lines. Or maybe she performed so badly I barely remember her.

In the same vein, I have felt that Storm was almost a non-presence in the X-men movies, but that may be Halle's fault too.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

In the first movie I think she had like three lines.

She had a lot more in the original cut, but they were edited out because she was really bad.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Meanwhile, I'm kind of weirded out that Rove Live gets linked to from here. I suspect this is how Nilly felt when she first saw ita mention krav maga.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

I guess I can see how she's pretty much the only one without a storyline or character arc, with the possible exception of "should I cut my bitchin' hair?" Editing her because she can't deliver a line to save her life is another reason why there's no way in hell Singer would cast Jessica Simpson.
