To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.
This bit was an interesting take:
An audience member talked about how one of the show’s writers said that the loss of the female characters on “Angel” was about the hole it left in men’s lives along with a loss of hope. That “Angel” was never about the empowerment of women but rather about the fragmented images of masculinity.

I just read that the WB is shutting down its Angel board. Though it's a chatspeaky nonsensical place, I'm always sad when fans lose a board. It's like having your neighborhood pub bulldozed in the middle of the night.

Not like we don't have the scars. Never went to the Angel board, but that gave me the Bronze twinge just the same.
