We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

Angel 5: Is That It? Am I Done?

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

Guy #1: Man, there are so many hipsters around. I hate hipsters! Guy #2: You're at the wrong place. That's like going to Vegas only to say "I hate titties!" --The Warsaw, Williamsburg (OINY)

Speaking of Space Ghost CTC and Sealab 2021, has anyone seen Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law? Done by the same guys (at least, the ones who do SGCTC) it is hysterical. Well worth watching if you have TiVo or are very, very alert (same kind of deal as the other two - 15 minute eps that air completely randomly as far as I can tell).

[ETA way upstream in some thread, may have been this one, it was mentioned that the Sealab 2021 theme rocks. I don't know if I was caught up in time to brag namedrop mention that I know the girl who wrote & sings it. Her band is called calamine and they are great.]

This heart ain't gonna cut itself out

Space Ghost.

Ah, thanks. I've definitely heard of him.

J'onn, maybe?

I think so. I've only seen the JL a few times, but he's never doing much in the ones that I've seen. I'm not even sure that I've seen him talk.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Harvey Birdman is great. And the Sealab 2021 theme rocks

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Harvey Birdman is not actually done by Williams Street.

eta: or maybe it is.

eta2: the pilot was. the other eps not.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Mentok is fantastic. ooooOOOOoooo.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

'Screw that noise. Forget sneaking up on evil and poking it in the kidneys. I'ma step right up and kick evil square in the nuts. Twice.'

MechalKrelboyne, may I tag this? It makes me want to lick your cerebral cortex.

... and that's a Pantera's box you don't want to open. - Mister Furious

I am both intrigued and disturbed. Tag away.

In other news, Mentok is the shit. 'We don't ask for the mind. We TAKE it!' The other prosecutor is gold too. The one with the shrink gun.

In other other news, and even though I can't imagine an Interweb where there are people who haven't seen this site, Seanbaby.com has the funniest Super Friends stuff I've ever seen. Covering bases and all that.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

15 minute eps that air completely randomly as far as I can tell).

If you Google Adult Swim, and go to their web site, you can catch what's scheduled for upcoming weeks, though they are a bit erratic about going much into the future (mainly because they seem to shuffle the order of shows a LOT).

[ETA way upstream in some thread, may have been this one, it was mentioned that the Sealab 2021 theme rocks. I don't know if I was caught up in time to brag namedrop mention that I know the girl who wrote & sings it. Her band is called calamine and they are great.]

This gives you SUCH total bragging rights. Cooool.

eta They should play on a double bill with Lotion.

Hey, look! I think I got your name right this time!

I am both intrigued and disturbed. Tag away.

Thanks.

That whole post made sense to me, but I think the reason this snip calls to me so, is a story I'm fond of telling about a cat I once had. (white fonted for convenience of those who are sick of cat stories and because it really has nothing to do with Angel.)

This is how I tell it: "Katie-cat was a month old the first time she ventured into the living room by herself. Mostly she stayed in the spare room with the rest of the litter, where they were kept out of trouble. She was steadily making it plain that the rules for the other kittens did not apply to her, because they were on their way to other families. But not her. She made herself right at home.

"Couldn't have weighed more than a pound at the time. My boy-cat Harvey was full-grown, at least ten times her size. He's a genial cat, but was discombobulated to find one of the babies wandering around loose in _his_ living room. To establish his authority, Harvey hissed at Katie.

"Did she get scared and back off? Oh, no. She swiped him across the nose. Twice."

"And he was wrapped around her little finger ever since."

eta: more s's to complete the white-fonting, and a conclusion to conclude the story.
