I just think you're freakin' out 'cause you have to fight someone prettier than you.

Angel 5: Is That It? Am I Done?

[NAFDA] This is where we talk about the show! Anything that's aired in the US (including promos) is fair game. No spoilers though -- if you post one by accident, an admin will delete it.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Show called Angel ending. Show called Angel ends with end of Angel's journey -- he gets dusted.

Joss said he always planned to kill Buffy in the fifth season finale. There'd be some nice parallelism. But *sniff* I don't want him to die.

What is the origin of the phrase "show called Angel"? It's the title of the spoiler thread, so I figure it has some sort of meaning I'm missing.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Did Angel biting Drogan remind anyone else of Angel biting Kate?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

"show called Angel"

IIRC, it's something Tim said -- to the end of "Show called 'Angel' not 'Needy Multi-Ethnic Street Kids'" to explain why more time wasn't spent with Gunn's gang.

this post intended to trigger the memory of someone who actually has one

I think Micole pointed out the similarity in structure to "Shroud of Rahmon," with the biting in the teaser and the rest of the episode told in flashback.

Except Angel didn't snap Kate's frickin' neck.

Sorry, I must have missed that. I read through the thread quickly last night.

Very good point.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

My "pick" on the Angel Series Finale from today's "OC Weekly."

No spoilers.

Sex just doesn't cut it anymore. Pink Flamingos do.

Ahem.

I can't be sure if this is the completely right place for this; not being on this board for long means I'm still working out the kinks.

I missed the episode. And couldn't get someone to tape it for me.

So, I'm lost. I need my Angel-fix, especially since its penultimate episode goodness.

If anyone has a tape they can send me (I"ll pay for postage and the tape), I would appreciate it.

Freeflyer. There's a thread on the sidebar called "When Come Back, Bring Tape." That's the place to solicit copies.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Hee. David Boreanaz is on Fox SportsNet's "Best Damn Sports Show." It's quite funny, and the best part is he's wearing a Flyers jersey. WooT! Not so good--his hair is reddish blonde.

The bad thing is I can't tell if those pics from last week were an aberration. The jersey covers too much.
