Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

Uh. No. That's, kind of stupid.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Was the canary blue by any chance, thus being a shout out to a fabulous They Might be Giants song?

I didn't think Jaye would put her whole heart into a boy that quickly. I think she would be more guarded about being smitten. So I didn't believe the date and the smoochies would have happened, it bugged.

I also have a hard time with Eric being so completely open after getting his heart torn out, but that may change when i watch more. he might just be insane.

My "big" nipples gave me an even bigger complex.

I kinda agree with you, Allyson. But did you read the scripts all in a few days or spread out like 1 a week? Cuz the show is meant to be shown 1 a week. I think when we watch it on TV it'll be more convincible.

I need a new tagline.. submissions are accepted.

Considering its suppose to be two months (maybe more that's what she told Aaron in "Lying Pig") from they (Jaye & Eric) first meet to their first date it does not seem to out of line to me.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I think the fireworks moment in "Pink Flamingos" will allow me to believe just about any level of smitten-ness on Eric's part from that point onward.

I think the reason that Jaye is so receptive to Eric is (from what they reveal in other episodes) that Jaye has never met a guy like Eric before. He is this new and "just her type" fellow who has impressed her from the get-go. Well as far as I can tell anyways.

As for Eric being so open after what his wife did to him? I don't buy that either. I mean, we haven't seen him deal with Heidi so far and you would think that you would need to sort of deal with that emotional baggage before you start another "romantic" relationship.

Is all this early smoochage really Eric treating Jaye like rebound girl? (Even unintentionally so?).

What is even happening?

Not Allyson, but I think she actually got to see that episode, not just read the script.

No, I saw the episode.
