Kaylee: Is that him? Mal: That's the buffet table. Kaylee: Well how can we be sure, unless we question it?

Apparently if you're enough of a power nerd, there is nothing that cannot be flowcharted.

I'm just thrilled you've written more, because I really love the premise. It's so good!

Thrive to spite them

Fanfic came up at work. Or well smone of the part timers mentioned AO3. I should be surprised this guy knew about it he is very into wrestling fandom and also he always has his hair dyed different colors and wears big pink fuzzy dice earrings . And trans pride items although he isn't, just said he cares about someone who is . Although he does have a bunch of pansexual pride color stickers and such on his water bottle because he is .(I overheard him explaining this to someone else). The fact that he is so open about it makes me think he would be the type of guy to read fanfic and kind of is why I did what I did next...

After talking about fanfic and he said how good a lot of fanfic is "the could be professional novels" . So I was like "you should read The Accidental Warlord series, you don't have to know much about The Witcher and it's like a sprawling fantasy series ".

I wasn't thinking about it being explicit fic or anything. And I don't know why I recommended it because that is probably not cool for a CO worker to recommend and also I don't think he is 18 yet. Although he does have a tattoo...

I feel like I am kind of a creep now. I hate even mentioning it but it's kind of eating at me. And I don't know if I should ignore it or apologize to him or what.

There are 2 part timers who I keep thinking ARE in high school but one is around 23 and the other is 27, or so and they are all in the same area so I ...even if they were my age I shouldn't have recommended that at work. I just my brain to mouth filter is not working right.

Sometimes I complicate things by trying to correct them.

I was just going to go with "hey I realized that the recommendation I made probably wasn't one I should have and if I had been thinking a little clearer I wouldn't have included that in our conversation". Not really an apology but hopefully it will be ok
